Fascias & Soffits Cleaning

Fascias, soffits and bargeboards collect green algae, mould and grime over time, making even a well-maintained house look tired. We use appropriate cleaning solutions and soft-washing techniques to remove biological growth and restore the original colour without scratching or damaging UPVC or painted timber.

What's involved

How we approach Fascias & soffits work

Fascias and soffits face constant exposure to rain, damp and biological growth. Over time UPVC and painted timber surfaces develop a green algae coating, black mould spots and general weathering grime that makes even a maintained property look neglected.

We clean fascias and soffits using appropriate cleaning solutions applied at low pressure to lift biological growth and traffic film without scratching or dulling the surface. UPVC responds particularly well — the bright white finish can usually be fully restored without abrasives.

Fascia and soffit cleaning is often combined with a window clean for a complete exterior refresh. We clean bargeboards, guttering exteriors and any exposed painted timber as part of the same visit.

Questions

Common questions about Fascias & soffits

How often should windows be cleaned?

For most homes, every 4–8 weeks keeps windows looking their best and prevents the build-up of algae and mineral deposits that become harder to shift over time. We offer 4-weekly, 6-weekly and 8-weekly regular schedules, or a one-off clean if that suits you better.

What is pure-water cleaning and why is it better?

Pure-water (deionised) window cleaning forces tap water through filters to remove all dissolved minerals. This purified water is fed to a soft brush head on a telescopic pole, which scrubs the glass and frame, then rinses it clean. Because there are no minerals in the water, it evaporates without leaving any spots or streaks — something tap water cannot do.
